AT THE BEGINNING
Sporoco Inc. was established in 1957 by Frank E. Spooner of Rhode Island. The first warehouse was in South Hill, Virginia. After the successful opening of the Virginia location, the company selected Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania as the second location to service the factory built housing industry. This location eventually became the corporate headquarters.

THE TURNING OF A PAGE
In 1988 at the passing of Frank E. Spooner his sons, Robert Spooner and Dennis Spooner, succeeded him in business. In 1995 Robert Spooner retired. In 1998 Dennis Spooner retired and sold the business to the management in place at that time.
